SERVING NASHVILLE & MIDDLE TENNESSEE
Most concrete around here fails early, and it is almost never the finish that gives out first. It is the base, the reinforcement and the drainage underneath. We build those right, we tell you exactly what we are doing and what it costs, and we hit the schedule we gave you.

Learn MoreExcavated and compacted base, pre-hydrated before the pour, reinforcement set at mid-slab on chair rails. The part you never see is the part that decides how long it lasts.
Our crews trained on the West Coast under master finishers. The California Sand Finish is our signature and no other Tennessee contractor offers it.
We are not finished until you walk the finished surface and tell us it is right. If something is not, we come back. Every project is documented so you know exactly what went into it.
We visit your site, assess grade, drainage, and project scope. You receive a clear written quote, no phone estimates, no vague ballparks.
We walk you through mix specification, reinforcement standard, and finish options before a yard of concrete is ordered. You know exactly what you're getting.
Pump pour, full rebar grid on chair rails, California Sand Finish. Most residential driveways are completed in a single day.
We walk the finished surface with you, confirm it is what we agreed, and hand over the documentation of the mix, reinforcement and base work that went into it. Then we tell you how to care for it through the first winter.
Every project is documented: the mix, the reinforcement method, the base preparation and the finish. You get that record at handover, so what is under your slab is not something you have to take on trust.
The first crew in Tennessee taught the authentic California Sand Finish directly, who brought the technique east and named it.
Owner Gumaro Rivera worked in California high-end residential concrete from 2006–2008. That West Coast standard now sets the benchmark for Tennessee concrete.
A scalable crew of 30+ trained professionals means your project is never delayed for labor. From residential patios to commercial warehouse slabs, we have the depth to deliver.
Most Tennessee residential concrete fails early because of what is under it, not on it. Full rebar instead of wire mesh, a compacted and pre-hydrated base, and drainage graded away from the structure.
We never quote by phone. Every project starts with an on-site visit to assess grade, drainage, and scope, so the estimate you receive is the price you pay.

Everything you need to know before hiring a concrete contractor in Nashville, TN.
No. We take on concrete work of every size, from small slabs and repair work through full driveways and commercial flatwork. Real projects we have completed range from around $2,000 to $90,000. Tell us what you need and we will scope it honestly, including telling you when a repair makes more sense than a replacement.
Three things combine against them. Tennessee's clay-heavy soil swells and shrinks with moisture, freeze-thaw cycling stresses the slab from below, and most local pours put reinforcement flat on the ground rather than at the middle of the slab where it actually does something. Base preparation and reinforcement placement are what decide whether a driveway lasts, and they are the first things a low bid removes.
It depends on square footage, site access, how much demolition and grading is involved, the finish you choose and whether drainage work is needed. That is why we do not quote over the phone. We walk the site, scope the work and give you a clear written price before anything is scheduled. Our article on what a driveway actually costs in Nashville breaks the variables down.
A hand-applied technique that produces a smooth, contemporary surface exposing fine sand aggregate in a uniform pattern, rather than the standard broom finish. It was developed in California roughly thirty years ago. The method was brought east to Tennessee and taught to the Pumas crew directly. Our photo gallery has examples sorted by project type.
Most residential projects run three to five days on site: demolition and grading, forming and reinforcement, then the pour and finish. Curing is separate. Concrete reaches roughly 70 percent of its strength in the first week and full strength at about 28 days. We do not rush a cure or skip base preparation to hit a date.
Yes, licensed and fully insured, and happy to provide documentation before work begins. We would encourage you to ask the same of any contractor you are considering.
